Good Grief

GRIEF

comes in all different shapes & sizes.

GRIEF~

over the loss of a job.

GRIEF~

over the loss of a relationship.

GRIEF~

over a dream unfulfilled.

And the biggest

GRIEF~

over the loss of a loved one

who is now in JESUS' arms.

GRIEF ~

Broken heartedness~

Facing something that you don't want to have to face,

but have no choice but to face it.

GRIEF~

Facing great loss in its' face.

Yesterday we said

"see you later"

to a friend,

who left so many loved ones behind.

So many emotions

as we laughed at the stories

in remembrance of this man,

yet crying with our hearts.

Now what?

Life goes on today

for this family

as they begin

a new life, a different life

with a void in their hearts

that they will have to face with

GRIEF.

GRIEF~

Facing something that you don't want to have to face,

but have no choice but to face it,

but faced with

JESUS~

who came with a great promise~

"and HE will wipe away every tear from their eyes; and there will no longer be death;

there will no longer be sorrow and anguish, or crying, or pain;

for the former order of things has passed away”(Revelation 21:4)

as

HE

walks alongside us in our

GRIEF~

"The LORD is close to the brokenhearted.

He saves those whose spirits have been crushed" (Psalm 34:18)

GRIEF~

a word that we hate to hear,

yet a place where

GOD

meets us in the midst of it

as

HE IS

Forever Faithful~

filling every nook & cranny of our

broken heartedness

with more of

HIM

that loves us

back together in every broken place.

"But this I call to mind, & therefore I have hope:

The steadfast love of the LORD never ceases; HIS mercies never come to an end; they are new every morning; great is your faithfulness"

(Lamentations 3:21-23)
