Once Upon A Time

(*Picture is of my son Taylor)

Once Upon a time

God knitted You

together in your mother's womb

you were a

whose first word was a cry.

Music to your mommy & daddy's ears,

but then the cry that was once music

doesn't like a song at 2 in the morning.

But then the smiles return

as you are taken from the crib

held and fed

until the next cry at 4 am.

Once upon a time

God knitted You

together in your mother's womb.

perfectly crafted,

on purpose & for a purpose

from the moment of your first cry

every cry after that.

Music to your

Father's Ears

the moment you cry out to

"I cry to God to help me. From His palace He hears my call; my cry brings me right into His presence— a private audience!

and no one can take that away." (Psalm 18:6 The Message)

Because you are

His Child~

even though you are no longer a baby.

as my second

is awaiting the birth

of his first baby

tears fill my eyes as I remember that moment when they said

"It's a boy".

A son for my husband & I.

A brother for his older sister.

I remember holding him for hours

looking at his little tiny feet & fingers

& those eyes.

Once a baby,

yet who is no longer a baby

but who

I share & you share you the same story~

Once Upon a time God knitted.

God crafted.

God created.

God shaped

each & every one

of us

in our mother's womb

HE will never

leave us or forsake us~

"You keep track of all my sorrows. You have collected all my tears in your bottle. You have recorded each one in your book." (Psalm 56:8)

Thank God

knitting you together

on purpose & for a purpose
