The Sun Motivates Me~
When the bright blue skies greet me,
an energy takes over & I just want to run~
& that is exactly what I do~
enjoying every minute of it.
When the clouds & grey skies greet me
running just becomes a
"have to" and "I don't want to"
because it is
The Sun
that motivates me.
But sunny days come and go,
so where is my motivation when the clouds roll in?
The SON Motivates Me
because
HE is my Joy in the midst of pain.
HE is my Peace in the midst of turmoil.
HE is my Hope in the unforeseen.
All because
The SON Motivates Me
to press forward when I want to go backwards
on those cloudy & rainy days~
"For our momentary, light distress [this passing trouble] is producing
for us an eternal weight of glory [a fullness] beyond all
measure [surpassing all comparisons, a transcendent splendor
and an endless blessedness]! (2 Corinthians 4:17)
All because
The SON
is where my eyes are fixed
&
The SON
is where your eyes are fixed~
"So we look not at the things which are seen, but at the things which are unseen; for the things which are visible are temporal [just brief and fleeting], but the things which are invisible are everlasting and imperishable." (2 Corinthians 4:18)
And then the clouds
&
the rain
&
the grey skies
are unseen
because it is
The SON Who Motivates Me.
