Always Open

Weekends~

A break from the daily routine.

A break from structure.

A break from ...

God?

Think about it

HAVE YOU EVER TAKEN A BREAK FROM GOD?

I know I have

~when I think HE just doesn't listen to me

~when I get tired

TRUSTING HIM

&

BELIEVING HIM

&

WAITING ON HIM~

because it just gets too hard.

Therefore

I take a break from GOD

but then

the break breaks me.

Because HE doesn't tell us to take a break from HIM~

"Come to me.

Get away with me and you’ll recover your life.

I’ll show you how to take a real rest.

Walk with me and work with me—watch how I do it.

Learn the unforced rhythms of grace.

I won’t lay anything heavy or ill-fitting on you.

Keep company with me and you’ll learn to live freely and lightly.” (Matthew 11:28-30)

HE never sleeps, even when we are sleeping

HE doesn't take off weekends

&

HE doesn't go on vacations

because

HIS pleasure & HIS delight

is being with us.

So look up on this

Sunday morning

because

the One Who made

this morning

is so excited to spend it with you

because

God

never takes a break from you. "My help comes from the LORD, who made heaven and earth!

HE will not let you stumble; the one who watches over you will not slumber." Psalm 12:2-4
