It starts to happen
without you even knowing it is happening.
A seed of Worry is planted.
A sprout of Fear emerges.
And before you know it
you have a flower of
DOUBT
that starts to drop
seeds of
Worry & Fear
because
DOUBT BELIEVES WHAT ISN'T TRUE~
in the midst of living it as true~
If no one sees me, then I will live as unseen.
If no one hears me, then I lives as unheard.
If no one accepts me, then I live as rejected.
DOUBT
was planted in the Garden
in the midst of perfection~
As the words, "DID GOD REALLY SAY" rolled off the tongue of the serpent.
And in an instant
Eve BELIEVED DOUBT.
How many times have the words
"DID GOD REALLY SAY"
taken root in your soul so that worry & fear make you
sink into despair
like Peter did in an instant~
"But when he saw the wind, he was afraid and, beginning to sink"*
But Peter cried out to the one whom he doubted~
“LORD, save me!”*
And the One who I have doubted
& maybe the one who you have doubted
responds~
"Immediately JESUS reached out HIShand and caught him.
'You of little faith,' HE said, 'why did you doubt?'" *(Matthew 14)
And now the seed of
FAITH
is planted
that kills the roots of
Worry & Fear
in an instant
when your eyes meet the eyes of
the One Who
says~
“'What do you mean, ‘If I can’?' Jesus asked.
'Anything is possible if a person believes.'" (Mark 9:23)
And you respond~
“'LORD, I believe; help my unbelief!'" (Mark 9:24)
