She follows GOD
She thinks of others first. She does what is right
She gets the short of the end of the stick
IS IT WORTH IT?
Is it worth it to hang in there when I am hanging by a thread?
Is it worth it to watch those who aren't doing what is right,
appearing to be winning in this life?
Is it worth it to do this
"TRUST IN THE LORD with all of your heart "(Proverbs 3:5)
"DENY himself &take up his cross and follow ME" (Matthew 16:24)
"Be steadfast, immovable, always abounding in the work of the LORD" (1 Corinthians 15:58).
Have you ever been there?
Oh I have & I am sure I will be again,
because as long as we are breathing life hits us at all angles,
& it doesn't matter how "good" you are or "bad" you are.
As I just heard from another who walks the talk & talks the walk,
yet it appears she is losing.
My heart goes out to her & I know that
she will come out on top
GOD has a greater plan that HE is working in the midst of the ugliness
& that JESUS is the only way.
I know that she knows it too.
So how do you keep walking forward when your life appears to be falling apart?
Do you look up to
HIM looking into your eyes
HE tells you that HE understands what you are going through
& that you are actually called
when you go through these things
"BLESSED [happy, spiritually prosperous, favored by God] is the man who is steadfast under trial & perseveres when tempted; for when he has passed the test & been approved, he will receive the [victor’s] crown of life which the LORD has promised to those who love HIM" (James 1:12)
Oh BLESSED YOU & BLESSED ME
we are all in this together
with the One
who has so much more for us than we can ever imagine.
IT IS WORTH IT~
so let's do it together
because it is forever~
"I press on toward the goal to win the [heavenly] prize of the upward call of GOD IN CHRIST JESUS. All of us who are mature [pursuing spiritual perfection] should have this attitude. And if in any respect you have a different attitude, that too GOD will make clear to you.
Only let us stay true to what we have already attained" (Philippians 3:14-16 AMP)
