Three calls
From three different women
who are facing
what they don't want to face
because it hurts
And you wonder~
Where is GOD in the midst?
HE
is the midst
HE
is the One
who is going to fix the
HURT
because that is what
HE DOES!
GOD doesn't cause the pain,
HE feels it with you~
"The LORD is close to the brokenhearted and saves those who are crushed in spirit"(Psalm 34:18)
even though it may still hurt.
BUT
then
HE goes one step further~
"HE heals the brokenhearted
And binds up their wounds [healing their pain and comforting their sorrow]" (Psalm 147:3).
Because
that is
WHO GOD IS~
"...the FATHER of compassion and the GOD of all comfort,
who comforts us in all our troubles" (2 Corinthians 1:3)
Oh how I hate seeing the realities of life
playing out in those around me &
oh how I feel the pain as I know it all too well,
BUT
oh how the realities of life bring us to a crossroad
to choose
Who to Believe~
who will carry us through the
not so good parts of life
that hurt~
"It is because of the LORD'S lovingkindnesses that we are not consumed, Because HIS [tender] compassions never fail. They are new every morning; Great and beyond measure is Your faithfulness" (Lamentations 3:22-23)
Because even though
"All Good things must come to an end"
so do
Bad things,
because
we have the
GOOD
always in the midst of the Bad~
JESUS
Who had to withstand the bad
in order to clothe us
with oh so much more
that allows us to
press forward with
HIS PEACE
in the midst of the not so peaceful moments.
Let's
FAST
from our
HURTS
by placing them in the hands of the One
who is reaching out to take them
one by one
so
HE
can
fill you with more of
HIM
