Oh the power of three letters~
The power to change
Agree to DISagree
Approved to DISapproved
Obedience to DISobedience
Interested to DISinterested
Order to DISorder
Advantage to DISadvantage
DIS
expressing negation.
What are you DISing?
When we add that prefix to any word we miss out
because what we are plagued with is
DIS~BELIEF~
"the inability or refusal to accept that something is true or real."
And
maybe, just maybe
it is because we don't have something
that we really believe in that is reliable, true, or real.
Who, what, where or when are you believing in?
The father approaches JESUS to heal his son
"If you can?" rolls off his tongue.
DIS~BELIEF
"If I can?” said JESUS.
Then JESUS responds~
“Everything is possible for one who believes.”
BELIEF~
"trust, faith, or confidence in someone or something."
And then...
"Immediately the boy’s father exclaimed,
“I do believe; help me overcome my unbelief!” (Mark 9)
The father
Knows about JESUS & that HE could heal his child, but
"If you can" rolls off his tongue.
The father then
Receives JESUS
and
Believes in HIM
and now asks JESUS to really help him.
Have you ever questioned JESUS whether HE can or will do what HE said HE would do?
"If you can"
has rolled of my tongue numerous times.
And then in the midst of my
DIS~BELIEF
JESUS
responds back with
"IF I CAN?"
because
HE HEARS
HE SEES
&
wants to do what you can't do
because
HE CAN.
Is Jesus enough to take away the DIS from your belief?
If HE CAN turn water into wine.
If HE CAN walk on water.
If HE CAN heal the blind man~
But do you believe it.?
If HE CAN take away your anxieties
If HE CAN forgive the unforgivable
If HE CAN love the unlovable
If HE CAN give you eternal life
IF JESUS CAN~
Can
you
BELIEVE HIM?
Let's
FAST
today from the weight of
DIS.
Every time you begin a word with
DIS
or when you are in the midst of the impossibility
immediately say
"I BELIEVE JESUS"
because
"EVERYTHING IS POSSIBLE FOR ONE WHO BELIEVES"~
JESUS SAID SO!
