Blessed Monday

It is a weird Monday~

as we are traveling home

from a quick get away weekend.

We were supposed to come home yesterday~

but stayed an extra day

as my husband got the flu

from the moment we touched ground here.

Happy Birthday to him!

He is so much better than when are arrived

& I hope today he is at 100%

for when we fly home.

I guess our prayers were answered

for this trip as we prayed for

& oh he got it.

I prayed for uninterrupted time to prepare for an upcoming conference~

& oh I got it.

So was the flu an answer to prayer in disguise?

No, as GOD doesn't work that way.

Yes HE allowed it, but I believe the answer to prayer

was in our response to it.

GOD has a plan and HE worked it

in our hearts

as we are both

from the time we left home.

We both are more

from the time we left home.

Hopefully we both are more

from the time we leave here.

gave us so much more in the midst of this~

that we may never know exactly what

but we know that

HE did

HE uses all things for good~

all things whether so little or whether so big~

as this was just a commercial break

filled with so much more

as we got to be together

for these past few days.

So when we hop on the plane today

& someone starts coughing &sneezing

or doing other flu like symptoms~

what will we do~

absolutely nothing

because there is nothing that we can do

but look up

& smile

& pray

that the flu doesn't sneak home with us in our suitcases.

May GOD bless you in the little unplanned things & in the big unplanned things.

May HIS PRESENCE take over ever part of your being so that you know

HE is always present.

May this Monday be the best Monday ever

because you experience

in a much deeper way that you have never before

is so much more

has so much more

for you & I

beyond what our eyes can see.

“The LORD bless you and keep you; the LORD make HIS face shine on you and be gracious to you; the LORD turn HIS face toward you and give you peace." (Numbers 6:24-26)
