Do you get it? Do you really get it?
That
JESUS IS MORE THAN A RESOLUTION
because
HE is the MORE
that we all need to carry out any
RESOLUTION~
to make any change within us that becomes part of us
so that we will never be the same
because
I know that I can't~
no matter how I try~
as I have tried & tried & tried again & again
and always ended up at the same place~
JESUS I NEED YOU.
Think about it
HE is all we need in order
to
RESOLVE to do anything
as words defining
RESOLUTION are
PERSEVERANCE~
"And let us run with perseverance the race marked out for us, fixing our eyes on JESUS,
the pioneer and perfecter of faith" (Hebrews 12:2)
STEADFASTNESS~
"YOU will keep in perfect peace those whose minds are steadfast, because they trust in YOU" (Isaiah 26:3).
COURAGE~
“Take courage! It is I. Don’t be afraid" (Mark 6:50)
Hmm...
sounds like
JESUS
is the
MORE
that we all need
To Be & to Do
anything~
because without
HIM
we are unable
to
move beyond where we are
to get to where we want to be
which is more that we could imagine
because
JESUS
is the
MORE
that turns impossible to possible
one step at a time
when we walk one step at a time
with the
ONE
who walks one step at a time with us
to change us from the inside out.
Hmm..
I didn't make a
RESOLUTION
this year because when I do
it because all about me
& I fail every time
Instead I chose the word
FEARLESS~
that I can not make possible on my own to become a Reality
because
I need & you need
the
WORD
who changes everything~
JESUS~
because
without
HIM
every word is just a word
and we are such more than a word~
"See what an incredible quality of love the FATHER has shown to us,
that we would [be permitted to] be named & called and counted the children of GOD!"
And so we are! (I John 3:1)
I didn't make this happen & you didn't make this happen~
HIS LOVE made is happen~
“For GOD so [greatly] loved and dearly prized the world, that HE [even] gave HIS [One and] only begotten SON, so that whoever believes and trusts in HIM [as Savior] shall not perish, but have eternal life (John 3:16)
And all we have to do
is make
JESUS MORE THAN JUST RESOLUTION~
&
MAKE HIM OURS!
