I kept waking up in the middle of the night
with an excitement to write this morning.
I felt
GOD nudging me to get up
because
HE had something to say to me.
So here I sit with nothing to say.
Maybe just maybe
GOD was nudging me to come to be
STILL WITH HIM.
So here I sit in the darkness~
"Here I am GOD."
I showed up. It really is quite simple,
yet I want so much more than just to be still
especially when
all you hear is the nothingness around you
or the ringing in your ears if you are like me,
as it becomes more annoying as I think about it.
Distractions & Interruptions
in the
STILLNESS
in the
COME TO ME
moments
when
All you want is
GOD
because you know that
All you need is
GOD.
HE tells us~
"You will seek ME and find ME when you seek ME with all your heart." Jeremiah 29:13
So you do and what happens when
HE is no where to be found in the
stillness
that HE calls you to?
But maybe, just maybe it is because we aren't
SEEKING GOD
as we are
SEEKING what GOD can do for us.~
GOD change this & GOD change that.
GOD give me this & GOD give me that.
GOD take away this & GOD take away that.
And yes
GOD does want us to ask, as isn't that what prayer is~
To empty our hearts to HIM so that HE can fill them?
But maybe just maybe
GOD just wants us to show up
because
HE showed up~
"Very early in the morning, while it was still dark,
JESUS got up, left the house and went off to a solitary place,
where HE prayed." Mark 1:35
JESUS showed up to be alone with GOD
But not just once~
"And HE went a little beyond them, and fell on HIS face and prayed, saying, "MY FATHER, if it is possible, let this cup pass from ME; yet not as I will, but as YOU will." Matthew 26:39
But not just twice~
"HE went away again a second time and prayed, saying, "MY FATHER, if this cannot pass away unless I drink it, YOUR will be done." Matthew 26:42
But a third time~
"So HE left them, went away again, and prayed the third time,
saying the same words." Matthew 26: 44
JESUS PRAYED
to the ONE who sent HIM
to be with us so we can
BE STILL & SEEK GOD~
"OUR FATHER
in heaven , hallowed be YOUR name..." Matthew 6:9
So here I sit with nothing to say
because
HE
always has so much more to say
to this little heart of mine & to your little heart
when we just show up
because
HE
always does.
Let's make
JESUS MORE THAN A RESOLUTION
and
just show up.
