Day 20: Dear God

We all grow up,

whether we like it or not.

We may not act our age,

but our age is our age

and

The Christmas Season reminds us of that.

Think back to that one special Christmas

when Santa brought you that one gift

that you couldn't wait to get.

Remember what it felt like

to actually receive what you really wanted,

as there were no substitutes.

Oh how I remember~

a Tiny Tears doll.

I also remember

the excitement that filled my heart

when my kids received what they really wanted.

Santa heard

Santa delivered

because

Santa cared~

A man in a red suit with a big belly and a Ho Ho Ho

How did he know?

Maybe because he read every letter.

What do you want for Christmas?

Instead of a

Dear Santa letter,

write a

Dear God

letter~

Because

He Hears

He Delivers

because

He Cares about

giving you what your heart desires

and

it comes

all wrapped up in a

Baby

and all

He asks is for us to

Receive Him

like a child on Christmas morning.

Who is This Baby~

the One who was born to reconnect us back to the God who hears~

"I write these things to you who believe in the name of the Son of God

so that you may know that you have eternal life.

This is the confidence we have in approaching God:

that if we ask anything according to His will,

He hears us.

And if we know that

He hears us—

whatever we ask—

we know that we have what we asked of Him. I John 5:13-15

What do you want for Christmas?

Just ask.
