WHO IS THIS BABY?
I ask you~
Who do you say THIS BABY is?
Think about it~
when you see the manger scene
with
BABY JESUS who is HE to you?
What difference has THE BABY made in your life?
What do you want THE BABY to do for you?
As we are in the process of
saying "good-bye for now" to
my precious husband's mother~
who is resting peacefully,
while there are
Christmas trees & Santas all around & the traditional songs playing through the air,
I think
Who is THIS BABY
and how can HE help?
Is HE the JOY that was birthed into the darkness of a sinning world?
Is HE the HOPE that was birthed into the helplessness of the heart?
Is HE the PEACE that was birthed into life that is filled with the unknowns?
Is HE the SAVIOR for one and for all that need
JOY in the midst of darkness
HOPE in the midst of helplessness
PEACE in the midst of the unknowns?
Is the Christmas Season to remind us that
JOY & HOPE & PEACE
is right here & now because
THE BABY was born~
and
IN HIM
there is life forevermore~
more than we could ever imagine
especially when we are in the midst of such great sorrow~
Just because
THE BABY
was born in the midst of such great sorrow~
"and they shall call His name Immanuel"
which translated means,
"GOD WITH US." Matthew 1:23
This LITTLE TINY BABY
is
GOD WITH US
All Because
GOD never leaves us or forsakes us.
GOD has a greater plan for all of our lives that is beyond our comprehension~
"For this world is not our permanent home; we are looking forward to a home yet to come." Hebrews 13:14
All because
A JESUS
left HIS Heavenly Home of Riches
to be swaddled in Rags
so we can be swaddled in
HIS JOY, HOPE & PEACE
all because of
HIS LOVE
that is so great that I can't comprehend it,
especially at a time of great sorrow.
But now
I look at
THE BABY
with hopeful eyes
because
HE
is telling us
It is all going to be okay,
actually better than okay
because
THIS BABY changed the world
the moment
HE let out HIS first cry
so that
HE could leave the manger
so
He could be with
You & I
always
until the great moment
when
"He will wipe away all tears from their eyes, and there shall be no more death, nor sorrow, nor crying, nor pain. All of that has gone forever.” Revelation 21:4
Life passes into Life again
all because
WHO IS THIS BABY~
IMMANUEL~GOD WITH US
today, tomorrow & forever.
Let's look at
THE BABY
with our whole heart and receive
the
JOY & HOPE & PEACE
that only
HE
was born to give.
