Day 3: More than a Baby

The first thing you don't want to hear

on a Monday morning

is that there is such

sadness all around us.

It won't take you long

for you to think of~

a someone in your life~

or a someone in someone else's life~

or you may be the someone

that needs

PRAYER

because of a

loss

illness

depression

emergency or

a . . .~

as the list goes on and on,

as I know because it is all around me.

The trees and the lights and the signs of

CHRISTmas

are all around us too,

yet so is

the someone

who needs

PRAYER.

I got another text last night to pray

for a someone who I don't know,

yet God knows.

Honestly, I hesitated

as my faith began to waiver

What will my prayer do~

Do the impossible?

Turn bad into good?

Heal the sick?

Comfort the hurting?

Turn back the clock on the elderly?

As I look at my

Christmas Tree

with the nativity placed underneath it,

Tears fill my eyes

as

I missed it,

THE BABY~

the tiniest of them all

THE BABY~

Who is the answer to all prayer

because

HE is all that

the someone

or the someone else

or the you and the me

needs

because

HE is more than the

REASON for the SEASON~

HE IS THE REASON

for ALL

because

HE IS

HOPE in the midst of despair

for All~

PEACE in the midst of anxiety

for All~

JOY in the midst of sadness

for All.

So I won't tire of

PRAYING

for you & for the someone elses in your life & for me

because

there is a

SOMEONE

bigger than any of the issues in our lives~

THE BABY

who was born

to be the

answer to all our prayers~

For to us a child is born, to us a son is given, and the government will be on his shoulders. And he will be called Wonderful Counselor, Mighty God, Everlasting Father, Prince of Peace.

Isaiah 9:6

THE BABY~

who takes us

From Ordinary TO EXTRAORDINARY!
