Day 9: Just say Thank You

GOD

did it again

and I forgot to

THANK HIM~

for my prayer for safe travel for my husband

and they were safe,

but did I say

Thank you.

You know~

those "daily" prayers that you pray

that

GOD

always answers the way that you want

HIM

to

and then you forget

to say

Thank you.

Prayers like~

Be with me

Give me wisdom

Hold my tongue

Put a Hedge of protection

Get me get through this day

Bless this food

And then

GOD ANSWERS

and I forget

because I am

waiting for the answer for a

"Bigger" prayer.

Prayer is prayer~

all the same size

because

prayer is the privilege

to talk to

GOD~

to humbly say

YOU ARE GOD

and I am not.

I am not dummying down

the

"Bigger" prayers

for

the

Illness

Depression

Conflict

Life Changing Decision

Financial Burden

Prodigal Child

and

________________ (you fill in the blank)

because

there are way bigger issues

than

bless this food.

But

GOD

has reminded me

that

He is doing so many things

right before my eyes

that I forget to

THANK HIM

because my eyes get so stuck on me

that I just take for granted

all that

GOD

is doing in my life and in my heart

and it begins with

the simple breaths that I am taking right now

because they are from

HIM~

because

if it wasn't for

HIM

none of us would be here

because

HE

chose to

"knit us together in our mother's womb" (Psalm 139:13)

on purpose

for a purpose

and

that is where

GRATITUDE

begins.

So will you join me and say

THANK YOU GOD

for this precious moment

because

it is a gift

and it is quite

big

because

GOD

is always

bigger

because

HE IS EXTRAORDINARY~

"Have you never heard? Have you never understood? The LORD is the everlasting GOD, the CREATOR of all the earth.a HE never grows weak or weary. No one can measure the depths of HIS understanding. HE gives power to the weak and strength to the powerless. Even youths will become weak and tired, and young men will fall in exhaustion. But those who trust in the LORD will find new strength. They will soar high on wings like eagles. They will run and not grow weary. They will walk and not faint."

Isaiah 40:28-31
