I was so excited
to go to bed early
and then
I heard it.
My phone & my husband's phone
screaming~
"WONK, WONK, WONK"~
the emergency notification
for flooding.
Well, do you think I went back to bed?
Well, I didn't GET OUT of bed so I guess I did,
but really didn't sleep.
Was it because my sleep was
interrupted?
Uh, yeah.
Don't interruptions have a way of doing that?
You plan something and then something happens~
An interruption
that changes everything.

to say
