I never knew
that
I needed to
know
Jesus.
I knew
He was the one born in the stable.
I knew
He was the one who was on the cross.
I knew
He was the one who rose from the dead.
I knew
in my head,
but never in
my heart.
There was a disconnect
I never knew I had
until
I looked up in desperation
and
just asked.
So simple, yet so hard
to just admit
I needed Jesus.
To just admit
that you & everyone else
needs Jesus.
Because
one day
Jesus is coming back~
whether we believe we need Him or not.
Jesus told His disciples
when He was leaving the first time,
that He was coming back~
“Do not let your hearts be troubled. You believe in God; believe also in Me
My Father’s house has many rooms; if that were not so,
would I have told you that I am going there to prepare a place for you?
And if I go and prepare a place for you,
I will come back
and
take you to be with Me that you also may be where I am.
You know the way to the place where I am going.”*
And then like
Doubting Thomas
& like
Doubting me
& maybe
Doubting you
may ask~
“Lord, we don’t know where you are going, so how can we know the way?”*
And then the answer came~
"Jesus answered,
'I am the Way and the Truth and the Life.
No one comes to the Father except through Me.'" " *(John 14: 1-6)
Jesus is coming back whether we believe Him or not
