First Things First

I lost them again~

my reading glasses~

the same ones that I

have found before,

but now they are with

the other 20 pair that are lost

& I am trying to see

without them.

Trying to see~

How hard can I try to see

something that I will

never be able to see?

Never hard enough.

Try try try

with all my might

something that

I will never be able to do.

It reminds me of

how I try to

Manufacture sense out of things that don't make sense

&

Change things from the past

&

Make something happen that isn't ready to be birthed.

The energy, the strife, the exhaustion~

Trying to do things that really are impossible

for me to do & for you to do.

Is that why

God tells us to

Trust in the Lord with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding;" Proverbs 3

when we try to manufacture sense out of things that don't make sense

&

"Forgetting those things which are behind

and reaching forward to those things which are ahead.

I press toward the goal for the prize of the upward call of God in Christ Jesus.” Philippians 3:12

~when the pain of the past wants to occupy our minds

&

"I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me." Philippians 4:13

~when the impossible is impossible

Hmm

He's telling me again~

I can't do what He only can do

so

Stop trying

so

Stop striving

&

Stop trying to see what is impossible to see on my own

when I have

and you have

someone who can~

"Don’t fret or worry. Instead of worrying, pray.

Let petitions and praises shape your worries into prayers,

letting God know your concerns.

Before you know it,

a sense of God’s wholeness, everything coming together for good,

will come and settle you down.

It’s wonderful what happens when

Christ displaces worry at the center of your life." Philippians 4:6

So

God

Where are my glasses?

From Me, Myself & I to HIM~

From Rags to Riches.
