words spoken & words written
saying the same thing,
yet in a different way.
But
Christian~ese
is oh so different
because
the
Words
are the
Word
and
that is what is different
because
these
Words
carry a
Life Changing Power
because they are
His Words~
"Every part of Scripture is God-breathed and useful one way or another—showing us truth, exposing our rebellion, correcting our mistakes, training us to live God’s way. Through the Word we are put together and shaped up for the tasks God has for us." (2 Timothy 3:16)
And
"God means what He says. What He says goes. His powerful Word is sharp as a surgeon’s scalpel, cutting through everything, whether doubt or defense, laying us open to listen and obey.
Nothing and no one is impervious to God’s Word.
We can’t get away from it—no matter what." (Hebrews 4:12 The Message)
Because they are
Words of Hope~
"For whatever was written in former days was written for our instruction, that through endurance and through the encouragement of the Scriptures we might have hope." (Romans 15:4)
Words of Truth~
"Every Word of God proves true; He is a shield to those who take refuge in Him." (Proverbs 30:5)
Words of Protection~
"How can a young man keep His way pure? By guarding it according to your Word." (Psalm 119:190
Because
Jesus said so~
“Blessed rather are those who hear the Word of God and keep it!” (Luke 11:28)
And
Job
who suffered the deepest and darkest trial,
losing everything and everyone,
yet
survived
because
of
the
Power of the
Words
of the
One Who
so graciously
has given them to
all of us~
“I have not departed from the commandment of His lips; I have kept the Words of His mouth more than my necessary food." (Job 23:12)
Christian~ese
the
Universal Language
for
every person
everywhere.
So
let's
Walk the Talk
And
Live out
This Jesus Thing
This Christian Thing
so we can
Live the Abundant Life
Here and now
all because of
His Word~
"So get rid of all uncleanness and all that remains of wickedness,
and with a humble spirit receive the
Word [of God] which is
implanted [actually rooted in your heart],
which is able to save your souls.
But prove yourselves doers of the Word [actively and continually obeying God’s precepts], and not merely listeners [who hear the Word but fail to internalize its meaning],
deluding yourselves [by unsound reasoning contrary to the truth]." (James 1:21-22 AMP)
