Day 12: Choiceful purpose

Joy

Isn't a feeling

but a choice~

"Rejoice in the Lord always. I will say it again: Rejoice!" Philippians 4:4

Peace

Isn't a feeling

but a choice~

"Do not be anxious about anything, but in every situation, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God.7 And the peace of God, which transcends all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus." Philippians 4: 6-7

Hope

Isn't a feeling

but a choice~

"but those who hope in the LORD will renew their strength." Isaiah 40:31

Love

Isn't a feeling

but a choice~

"For God so loved the world..." John 3:16

Read that again~

"For God so loved the world..."

that He gave His one and only Son,

that whoever believes in Him shall not perish but have eternal life." John 3:16

God Chose

For me & for you

To have

His Son

To be born

To die

To rise

So He can be

Our Joy~

"for the joy of the lord is my strength". Nehemiah 8:10

Our Peace~

"Peace I leave with you; my peace I give you. I do not give to you as the world gives. Do not let your hearts be troubled and do not be afraid." John 14:27

Our Hope~

"Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ! According to his great mercy, he has caused us to be born again to a living hope through the resurrection of Jesus Christ..." I Peter 1:2

Our Love~

"'Love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your strength and with all your mind". Luke 10:27

Our Choice~

because we are a product

of

His choice

to be born

to die

to be born again

into an eternal bliss that is far beyond anything that we could choose.

So what are you going to choose to do today?

Let's

Live on Purpose

in our

Redeemed Restored Reality

as

His Perfect Choice~

"You did not choose me, but I chose you and appointed you so that you might go and bear fruit—fruit that will last—and so that whatever you ask in my name the Father will give you."

John 15:16
