As I have been just sitting
&
Being Still
in these wee early morning hours
just waiting for
God
to fill my soul,
yet
Being Still
is all that is happening,
and I don't like it.
As all I hear are the ticks of the clock~
one at a time
second by second
time moving ahead~
yet all that I am doing is
Being Still
and getting frustrated
because
I feel nothing
I hear nothing,
but the ticks,
when what I really want is
to hear God
to feel God
for Him to
point me in some direction.
But maybe
just maybe
this is what it is about~
just
Being Still
and sitting in the uncomfortableness of it
and that is
Living in my purpose
Living on purpose
in this very moment~
just waiting
on God.
To just be
in the moment
in the stillness
with
the
One
who is never still.
So I will continue
to
Be Still
and not force
God
because
God is here and now
with me
in the waiting
doing more than my eyes can see
doing more than my heart can feel.

Just
Be Still
because
God is God!
