The basket is empty
The chocolate bunny is eaten
The fast is over
So now what?
If you gave up cookies for lent~ are you now eating a bag of 0reos?
If you gave up a glass of wine~ are you now drinking a bottle?
If you gave up _____________~ are you giving into it now?
When we fasted from the weights of this world
through Lent
did it bring you closer to
God
because your eyes were fixed on
His Son?
I know it did for me
&
it has been life changing.
So what do I do now
So what do you do now~
do we become
anxious
hopeless
&
fearful~
forgetting we fasted from them?
Do I put Jesus back in the tomb until Christmas in 266 days?
But
Jesus didn't put Himself back in the tomb
because
Immediately
He Rises
and
Moves Forward
not looking back
even though
He still wore the scars in His hands and His feet.
He is for real
as
He said to doubting Thomas~
“Put your finger here and see my hands.
Reach out your hand and put it in my side.
Do not doubt but believe. John 20:27
It is really Me!
The Risen Lord!
Do not Doubt
when what you see is not what you want to see
Do not Doubt
when things are not working out the way you want them to work out
Do not Doubt
when your feelings don't coincide with truth

Believing is Seeing But Believe
the Risen Lord
in all things
because
He is here
He is there
with
His
outstretched arm~
the one with the scars
to show
You & I
that
It is really Him.
He has risen to walk with you.
Therefore~
"I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me." Philippians 4:13
"I"
means
You & I.
It is so personal,
yet for
everybody.
"I Can"~
when
the
I in us
and
Him
join together
will be strenghtened
to
Live on Purpose
in the midst of whatever is or isn't going on
in your life.
. "Through Him"
because
"for without Me you can do nothing." John 15:5
"Me"~
not you or I
But
Him~
The One
who
takes residence in our
mind
body
& soul.
Where do you need the strength to take that next step
into what seems impossible in this precious moment?
Do not doubt but believe~
not in circumstances
not in others
not in feelings
but in the
Risen One
who
rises in you
so that you can live in your
Redeemed Restored Reality
& all that
You & I
have to do is
Just
Believe`
for without Me you can do nothing. John 15:5
So
Let's
Put on
Believing
and
Gain a pound
that
you will never want to lose.
