I was just in the presence
of someone
who shared
testimony upon testimony
of the power
of the life saving grace
of
Jesus
in his life.
I was mesmerized~
as shivers ran down my spine
as I listened to every word
because
He wears
Jesus
on his sleeve,
or should I say
on his arm.
Before he knew
Jesus
he had a tattoo
but
after he knew
Jesus
he still had the tattoo,
but the tattoo no longer
was a representation
of
Who he has become.
So
he covered up the tattoo
so that it no longer can be seen~
Wiped Away
forever,
in a way
that is so powerful
for all to see~
the word
Forgiven
and a
Cross
now
adorns his arm~
Wiping Away
the old,
never to be seen again.
Oh the power of
Forgiveness
that
Wipes Away All~
"I, even I, am He who blots out your transgressions, for my own sake, and
remembers your sins no more. Isaiah 43:25
Never to be seen again~
He has removed our sins as far from us as the east is from the west. Psalm 103:12
all because
God said it would be so~
"Come now, let us settle the matter," says the LORD. "Though your sins are like scarlet, they shall be as white as snow; though they are red as crimson, they shall be like wool. Isaiah 1:18
Oh what a reminder
I needed to see
on his arm
of the great power
of
the gift of
Forgiveness
that
that just doesn't cover up
but
Wipes Away
whatever
you & I
have ever done
or will ever do
the moment
we ask
for
Forgiveness.
Because
at that moment
God
immediately
tattoos
His Son
over me & over you
that
Wipes Away
whatever "It" may be.
What old tattoos do you still wear, that need to be brought to the cross?
What old tattoos, that you have already brought to the cross, do you still wear because you don't believe that they are wiped away?
What do you want wiped away forever ~
Is it something you just said
Is it something you just did?
