As I am
Looking back at
the photos of the past
I am also
Looking Forward to
the photos I would like to see in the future,
Pain fills my heart
over "what was"
&
Pain fills my heart
over "what may be"~
yet
Joy also fills my heart
over "what was"
Joy allso fills my heart
over "what will be".
What "was"
is gone
What I think "will be"
may or may not happen,
so what about
the
Present~
that is
Today.
Think about it~
Today is the past of the future
and it is the future of the past.
So if
Today
is the past and the future
how do I & how do you
live in the
Present
without the
remnants of the past
and
the what ifs of the future
infecting
the precious
Present?
Well...
God
sent the
Way
swaddled as a Baby
Robed as a Man
to
deal with the past~
"The Spirit of the Lord is upon me, because he has anointed me to preach good news to the poor. He has sent me to heal the brokenhearted, to proclaim liberty to the captives, recovering of sight to the blind, to deliver those who are crushed..." Luke 4:18
If
Jesus
came to heal the brokenhearted
then He takes the pain of the past
and
If
Jesus
came to give eternal life
then He has our future all taken care of too~
"...and He will wipe away every tear from their eyes; and there will no longer be any death;
there will no longer be any mourning, or crying, or pain;
the first things have passed away." Revelation 21:4
Then
He has left
The Present
to be a time
filled with
Joy
Peace
&
Hope
because
He is in our past
He is in our future
and
He is in our present
when
He is our
Peace~
"Peace I leave with you; My peace I give to you; not as the world gives do I give to you .
Do not let your heart be troubled, nor let it be fearful. John 14:27
When He is our
Joy~
"Ask, and you will receive, that your joy may be full." John 16:24
When He is our
Hope~
Praise be to the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ! In His great mercy He has given us new birth into a living hope through the resurrection of Jesus Christ from the dead,
and into an inheritance that can never perish, spoil or fade.
This inheritance is kept in heaven for you, I Peter 1:3-4
And
if
God says that
He is
"the Alpha and the Omega,
the One
Who is,
Who was, and
Who is coming,
the Almighty." Revelations 1:8
then
He is
in every moment
of every day
making
every moment
the perfect moment
to live in.
So
let's live out
Revelation #16:
The Perfect Present
and
Be joyful in hope,
Patient in affliction,
Faithful in prayer. Romans 12:12
and
Do not worry about tomorrow,
for tomorrow will worry about its own things. Matthew 6:34
making
every moment
The Perfect Present.
