How close can you get without touching it
You can see it
You can feel it
You want it
You crave it
But
you just can't embrace it all
because
it is too much to fathom
or
you just aren't ready
or
you are afraid
because
What will it demand of you
What will you have to give up
What will you have to change
To get way beyond close
so that it consumes all of you.
But something
just something
keeps you from getting
too close
even though
it
demands nothing but
acceptance
and
that it
demands nothing but
surrender
and that it
demands nothing
but only
changing you into better
Because
there is so much
more
beyond what your eyes can see
and
beyond what you can feel and touch
when you
when I
get so close
to the
One
who
went
way beyond
to get close to
you and I~
