"Being sensible that I am unable to do anything without God’s help, I do humbly entreat him by his grace to enable me to keep these

Resolutions, so far as they are agreeable to his will, for Christ’s sake.

This is how I began my morning,

Hmm....

for some reason

I was reminded of the impact

Jonathan Edwards' Resolutions

had on me,

his commitment

his

RESOLVE~

"to decide firmly on a course of action." (google)~

to walk with

total dependency on His Lord and Savior.

Well..

feeling quite convicted,

as I was reading his list,

I decided to move on to something else

but...

my espresso fell

onto the carpet

caffeinating it with a puddle and drops

of black

and guess where I am...

back with

RESOLVE.

So I guess God had a message for me

as I had no choice but to use

RESOLVE~

to clean up my mess.

just as

God

cleans up my mess

whenever I

RESOLVE

To

Put Him in My Story.

So

On Spiritual Life

#25. Resolved, to examine carefully, and constantly, what that one thing in me is, which causes me in the least to doubt of the love of God; and to direct all my forces against it.

Communion with God

#53.Resolved, to improve every opportunity, when I am in the best and happiest frame of mind, to cast and venture my soul on the Lord Jesus Christ, to trust and confide in him, and consecrate myself wholly to him; that from this I may have assurance of my safety, knowing that I confide in my Redeemer. Time Management
