But then you have to
Pay your utilities & Pay your rent &
Pay someone else just because you are visiting their property,
hoping they don't own a couple of hotels~
No longer Free!
And then you take a
Chance Card~
Free or not so Free~
Bank error in your favor collect $200.00~
Free!
Pay school tax of 15 dollars~
Not so Free!
So what is it
Free or Not so Free?
This game of Monopoly
This game called life
Free or Not so Free~
Because
You still have to pay your utilities
You still have to pay your rent
You still have to pay your taxes
and
You still need a
Get of Jail Free card.
Jail is defined as~
"to put someone into a place that they can't get out of." Hmm...
I like that definition.
Have you ever been there~
in a place that you just can't seem to get out of?
When the anxiety is so strong, fear becomes your cell mate.
When hurt is so deep, isolation locks the door..
When bitterness overcomes you, un~forgiveness is your only meal
When the prison you have constructed with your own two hands,
has now become too comfortable to leave.
Jailed into a place that you just can't get out of.
But then you remember
the day you asked
Jesus
to come into your heart,
when
He gave you a card for Free~
The Get of Jail Card.
No cost to you
because He paid the cost.
He knows how the game is played,
that is why
He came to make you a winner
When He said,
"The Spirit of the Lord is on Me.
He has put His hand on Me to preach the Good News to poor people.
He has sent Me to heal those with a sad heart.
He has sent Me to tell those who are being held that they can go free.
He has sent Me to make the blind to see and
to free those who are held because of trouble.
He sent Me to tell of the time when men can receive favor with the Lord.” Luke 4:18
Get out of jail free Card~
The card is yours
to use at any time
"So if the Son sets you free you will be free indeed." John 8:36
I have one & You have one,
but it has to be used.
Hand it to the
Judge
and no questions will be asked.
He will
"bestow on them (you) a crown of beauty instead of ashes,
the oil of joy instead of mourning,
and a garment of praise instead of a spirit of despair." Isaiah 61:3

From whatever jail cell you may be sitting in.
The door is opened

Putting it into practice
and
