Last night I had a dream
well actually
every night I have a dream
because this brain of mine
never stops.
It was one of those dreams,
you know,
the ones where
you are sleeping, but awake
questioning is this real or just a dream.
But this dream was
very different
very powerful
as I would wake up
and chew on the words that were spoken to me
then go back to sleep
to continue the dream
and again
I would hear the same words
and all I had to do was receive them
for free
like a
Free Sample
no questions asked
just grab and go.
But how can this be
for me?
It sounds too easy
It sounds too wonderful
I agreed with what was said~
yet was this for me?
My dream
wasn't a dream at all
because it was about
The Truth
the truth that will set you free. John 8:32
Yup, this really was my dream.
Maybe I was writing in my dream,
I don't know,
but it was so clear
with a message
that I had to take it
and have to share it~
the Truth
that
will set you free.
I got excited
that it was
free
and all I was asked to do was to take it,
yet I hesitated,
because it was too easy.
So I chewed on the words again
that were handed to me on a silver platter~
I knew that I have been set free
I knew
the truth~
the truth that has set me free..
Once and for all Free...
but of course I questioned it
because I didn't feel free.
Well
I was told it wasn't about feelings
because it is about
Truth
and
Truth
is just that~
Truth.
There is no reason to try to even debate
Truth~
Truth for me
Truth for you
Truth delivered right from
Him~
for Free
Free to believe
Free to receive
without hesitation
Free at His expense.
So why don't we just eat it immediately like we do the free samples,
instead of of complicating it?
Is it just too easy, because it is Free ~
Free to
Come to me, all you who are weary and burdened, and I will give you rest. Matthew 11:28
Free to
Cast all your anxiety on Him because He cares for you. I Peter 5:7
Free to
"Don't be afraid; just believe." Mark 5:36
Free to
Believe
what Jesus said~
“If you hold to my teaching, you are really my disciples,
then you will know the Truth...
then
He said it
in my "real" dream
as I can still hear the words~
and the truth will set you free.” John 8:32
The
truth
that is
free
because
it cost Him everything
at His expense
which makes
it
Free
for you
and for me.
As tears fill my eyes
because
the reality of this dream is so real
reminding me to stop complicating
this
Free Truth
that is more than just a
Free Sample
because
He is so much more than a sample
He is so much more than a dream
Because
He is
the way,
and the truth,
and the life.
No one comes to the Father except through me. John 14:6
The
Free Truth
So
if the Son sets you free
you will be free indeed. John 8:36
I thank God
for reminding me again
in my dream
to just
Receive
The truth
&
all
His Truths
that are handed to us on a silver platter
for
Free
to eat
without hesitation
no questions asked
Taste and see that the Lord is good; blessed is the one who takes refuge in Him. Psalm 34:8
So
let's
wake up
because
it's not a dream
and that is
The Truth.
My mind finds hard to believe
That You became humanity
and changed the course of history,
Because You loved me so.
And my heart cannot understandWhy
You'd accept me as I am,
But You say You've always had a plan,
And that's all I need to know
.So when I am consumed by what the world will say,
It's then You're singing to me,
as You remove my chains-
Free from worry,
free from envy and denial
Free to live, free to give,
free to smile
