to be handled with
white gloves
Freedom~ Liberty
Free Reign
Free Will
to be Independent
from myself
To make a
Declaration of Dependence
on the
One
Who has come to set us free.
So if the Son has set you free then you will be free indeed.
But
Do you ever feel that even though
you know
the Truth
and that the Truth will set you free. John 8:32
you still remain stuck?
What do you desire to be set free from?
You are a new creation
Metamorphosed
from a
caterpillar to a butterfly,
yet just not quite getting
the flying thing down.
So what gets in the way of living the abundant life that Jesus has come to bring?
How do we soar above in His Freedom?
Jesus said,
“If you hold to my teaching, you are really my disciples.
Then you will know the truth, and the truth will set you free.” John 8:31-32
To hold onto~
Live in
Abide...
Sounds easy
but sometimes it is hard because
I don’t really understand myself, for I want to do what is right, but I don’t do it.
Instead, I do what I hate. Romans 7:15
So
let's take the next
14 days
to
Put into Practice ~
Living out the
Freedom
that Christ has come to give
in order to experience
His Peace
that transcends all understanding.
so that
July 4th
will truly be a day of celebrating
our
Freedom
but
in Him
as we
declare a
Declaration of Dependence
on Him
because
if the Son sets your free
then
you will be free indeed.
Put Off + Put On + Put Into Practice = Peace
Whatever you have learned or received or heard from me, or seen in me—put it into practice. And the God of peace will be with you.
