Day 24: Potter's Hands

What do you say when you are asked

How are you?

Are you

Just Fine

Just Good

Just because that is easy to say?

How are you really?

I have a new answer

to

How am I?

Transforming

Yup...

Transforming

As I am

the

Clay

in the palm of

my

Father's hands

Who is

Molding me

Shaping me

into the likeness of

His Son

For

God knew what He was doing from the very beginning. He decided from the outset to shape the lives of those who love Him along the same lines as the life of His Son. Romans 8:29

Does it hurt?

At times yes

the

Stretching

the

Spinning

the worse is the

Firing

in the kiln

when the temperature gets really hot

wondering when will it stop

but then

in

His Perfect Timing

I am pulled out

Shiny~

a

New Creation

better than I was before

A Pot

A Clay Pot

Yet you, Lord, are our Father. We are the clay, you are the Potter;

we are all the work of your Hand. Isaiah 64:8

A perfect pot?

Oh no,

as this is just the beginning

because

this pot gets

cracked

but

it is still a

pot

but

His Perfect Pot

For we are God’s masterpiece. He has created us anew in Christ Jesus. Ephesians 2:10

and I say

Thank you for making me so wonderfully complex! Your workmanship is marvelous—how well I know it. Psalm 139:14

So I ask again

How are you?

Are you on spinning, being stretched or in the firing stage?

However you are

you are

His Perfect Pot

Clay in His Hands

as

He continues to

cause everything to work together for the good of those who love God and are called according to His purpose for them. Romans 8:28

His Perfect Cracked Pot

Filled to the brim

with

His Son

But we have this treasure in jars of clay to show that this

all-surpassing power is from God and not from us. 2 Corinthians 4:7

God's

Transforming

power

working in

Our Clay Pots

that

will never get so cracked

that they crumble

We are

hard pressed on every side, but not crushed;

perplexed, but not in despair;

persecuted, but not abandoned;

struck down, but not destroyed. 2 Corinthians 4:8-9

So

Let's

enjoy the ride

on the

Potter's Wheel

because

How are you~

Perfect

in

the

Palms

of

Your

Potter's Hands
