Just picture it...
the Evil Queen
looking in her mirror
& chanting those famous words..
Mirror mirror on the Wall, who is the fairest one of all?
And then she hears
You are not!
Her world is shattered,
so she sets on a mission to do whatever it takes
for her to be the
one and only one who is
Seen
Heard
and
Accepted
by the Mirror~
Her judge
Our judge
as
Beauty is in the eyes of the Beholder
So What happens when you are the beholder?
Now picture this....
You walk into the courtroom
and face the judge
and
the judge is
you!
You
get to judge yourself
in the same way you judge others.
Yikes!
Some of the words that come out of my mouth about others
would crush me if I said them to myself~
words of condemnation
because
my mirror
tells me
that
I am not good enough &
that you are not good enough
every time
I judge.
Do you like playing judge?
How do you play judge in your life and in other's lives?
Beauty is in the eyes of the Beholder The power of the beholder.
The power of the mirror.
Giving you a blurred reflection of who you really are
when you are the beholder.
But
thankfully
I can get off the bench &
don't have to be the judge
because there is a
Judge...
my Beholder
your Beholder
Who
Judges
you
and me...
Yikes!
But wait~
Our Beholder
sees us through
Jesus
Our Savior
Therefore...
there is now no condemnation for those who are in Christ Jesus. Romans 8:1
because
Jesus took our old mirrors
and
cracked them
by
cracking Himself,
to give us a
New Mirror
being held by the
One True Judge!
Our Beholder~
Therefore,
if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation; old things have passed away;
behold, all things have become new. 2 Corinthians 5:7
Beauty is in the eyes of the Beholder
His crystal clear vision,
seeing you as complete in
His Son.
He looks beyond the bumps & bruises,
because
Beauty is in the eyes of the Beholder
Therefore....
Let's lose another pound and
fast from casting
judgement
upon ourselves
and others
by not being
~the judge,
~the beholder
and instead
Let us therefore approach the throne of grace with confidence Hebrews 4:16
by looking into
His Mirror
to hear the right answer to the question
Mirror mirror on the Wall, who is the fairest one of all?
You are
because
Beauty is
in the eyes of
the Beholder!
