Day 29: Timing is Everything

To everything there is a season, A time for every purpose under heaven:
A time to be born, And a time to die; A time to plant, And a time to pluck what is planted; A time to kill, And a time to heal; A time to break down, And a time to build up; A time to weep, And a time to laugh; A time to mourn, And a time to dance; A time to cast away stones, And a time to gather stones; A time to embrace, And a time to refrain from embracing; A time to gain, And a time to lose; A time to keep, And a time to throw away; A time to tear, And a time to sew; A time to keep silence, And a time to speak; A time to love, And a time to hate; A time of war, And a time of peace.
Ecclesiastes 3:1-14
Timing is everything
because
God is in everything
no matter the season ~
Winter: a time of emptiness
Spring: a time of growing
Summer: a time of completeness
Fall: a time of transition
What time are you in?
What do you chase after when you don't want to be in the time that you are in?
Timing is everything
because
God is about timing
and
His timing is perfect
from
the day
God created you
and
"... when the set time had fully come, God sent his Son..." Galatians 4:4
No matter the season
Winter, Spring, Summer or Fall
Jesus is in them all!
So is everything really
"Meaningless! Meaningless!” Utterly meaningless!
All a chasing of the wind"? Ecclesiastes
The wind you cant see
unless you see a tree swaying back and forth
or
until you feel it
upon your face...
The wind is there~
the breath, the spirit
in every season
because
Jesus is always there
walking with you.
So if
Jesus is in everything,
instead of chasing the wind~
chasing those things to relieve you from the time that you are in~
chase after
Jesus
Who isn't meaningless
even if you can't
see
hear or
feel
Him
because
He did calm the wind in the midst of the storm~
“Quiet! Be still!” Then the wind died down and it was completely calm.
And asks
“Why are you so afraid? Do you still have no faith?” Mark 4:39-40
So
Lets Fast from seeking the
meaningless~
from seeking anything else
or
anyone else
when we don't want to be in whatever God's perfect timing may be...
And instead reach out to the
One who reaches out His hand
to walk with you
all the time...
Because
To everything there is a season, A time for every purpose under heaven...
Turn Turn Turn
to
Him.
*Hmm...figures this song is sung by the "Byrds"...
the birds who fly through every season.
who God tells us:
"Look at the birds. They don’t plant or harvest or store food in barns, for your heavenly Father feeds them. And aren’t you far more valuable to him than they are? Can all your worries add a single moment to your life?"
Matthew 6:26-27
hmm...now that this is to be written about another time!
