Have you ever played the game
Blind Man's Bluff~
Trusting the one who is guiding you
Or
Follow the Leader~
Following the one who is leading you
Or
Marco Polo~
Listening to the one who is calling your name?
I did
& always cheated
especially when
playing Marco Polo...
Not only because I didn't want to smash my head into the side of the pool
because I was swimming with my eyes closed,
but also because I wanted to win.
Cheating to win
Hmm
Does that mean I really be would the winner?
Playing Blind Games of Trust
Blindness
The Blind Man
Whose eyes Jesus touched and asked~
“Do you see anything?”
The blind man responded:
“I see people; they look like trees walking around.”
The blind man~
still focused on his blurred vision instead on the One who made him see.
Jesus had to touch him a second time~
Once more Jesus put his hands on the man’s eyes.
Then his eyes were opened, his sight was restored, and he saw everything clearly.
No longer seeing trees!
This wasn't a game
He was blind and now he sees
Life isn't a game~
I was blind
because I was so focused on the trees,
on what I could see
which made me
cheat my way through life
by trusting other things to help me see.
But now I see
because I reached out and touched the
One
Who sees beyond the trees
and
Who takes me beyond my blurred vision
when I
Trust
Believe &
Listen
to Him...
Not once
But twice...
Always!
What "tree" blinds you from seeing and experiencing all Who Jesus is?
Is it a person, place or thing?
Trees: trusting what you can see and not who you can't!
We walk by
FAITH
not
by sight.
II Corinthians 5:2
So
Let's Fast from our
Trees...
Every time your "tree" blocks your vision
Reach out and
Trust
Believe &
Listen
to
the One
Who hung on a tree
so
that you can see!
