Day One: Me, Myself, and Him

Ready to lose some serious pounds?

The first pound to go is

You!

Today we are going to fast from

Self

Because Self weighs you down.

I needed a divorce from myself, because I kept getting in the way.

When things were going great,

I had to step in to mess it up

because you never knew when the other shoe was going to drop.

When things were going not so great,

I had to step in and feed the woe is me spirit.

How about you....

When things are going ___________

how does your Self try to take over?

Do you need a divorce from yourself.

The great divorce.

I divorced myself long ago, the day

Jesus reached down and grabbed me out of the pit that I was in because

I was getting in the way.

At the moment I grabbed His hand, the divorce was final...

the best divorce of my life.

Do I try to get Self back into my life?

Oh yes..all the time.

I think that She can convince me that I need Her or I will be out of control .

She is part of my three persons..

Me, Myself and I.

But now

I have another three persons who replaced my mine~

God

Jesus

Holy Spirit

All that I need

Alimony for life

Do you need a divorce from yourself?

I know a great Judge who will do it for you

And He won’t even judge you.

Just look up and grab His Hand

and receive all that you have coming to you.

So let's fast from Self today..

Every time you start depending on

Me, Myself and I

Look up

And

Trust in and rely confidently on the Lord with all your heart And do not rely on your own insight or understanding. In all your ways know and acknowledge and recognize Him, And He will make your paths straight and smooth [removing obstacles that block your way]. Do not be wise in your own eyes; Fear the Lord [with reverent awe and obedience] and turn [entirely] away from evil. It will be health to your body [your marrow, your nerves, your sinews, your muscles—all your inner parts] And refreshment (physical well-being) to your bones.

Proverbs 3:5-8 (Amplified)
