Tick. Tick. Tick.
Months going by.
Weeks going by.
Days going by.
Minute by Minute.
Second by Second.
This is LIFE as it never stops.
But today it is a different kind of LIFE~
when you are together yet not really
as what is natural
is not longer allowed
as touch has become a different kind of TOUCH.
It is said that "Absence makes the heart grow fonder" and oh how this is becoming oh so true
and how it also makes the HEART hurt more
as we were created to do life together
as GOD wouldn't have created EVE
as HE knew it wasn't good for man to be alone.
So what do we do?
We LOVE with our HEARTS like we have never LOVED before.
We are THANKFUL for each & every relationship we have
because GOD knitted us together to be united.
Oh here comes the tears as LOVE HURTS
when you are unable to LOVE the way that you are used to.
I was so blessed on mother's day as my family went on a "social distancing" bike ride.
And I did the one thing that I have been hurting to do.
I reached out and TOUCHED, and hugged my youngest child
which hugged my craving HEART.
My first TOUCH of a family member outside of my husband.
And oh how the LOVE flowed from our HEARTS
that it hurt so good
that will be tattooed on my HEART forever.
Thank You LORD for LOVE.
Oh how I am THANKFUL for this temporary time
as all our HEARTS are connecting on such a deeper level
without the TOUCH that we all so crave.
Oh I am tired of hugging everyone with just my words,
but oh what a celebration we will have
when TOUCH becomes a part of LIFE again.
Reach out & continue to TOUCH everyone in your circle of LIFE
with your whole
HEART
because you & I & everyone else is not alone in this
as we all LIVE IN HOPE~
