This sounds so silly,
yet I take it upon my self
to PROVE GOD.
Just because JESUS is my life,
Just because JESUS saved me in the midst of my life,
Just because I love JESUS~
I feel it is my duty to
PROVE GOD.
Oh to think that
GOD so needs me,
that if I don't
PROVE HE is real
then no one will ever believe.
Oh the pride
to think that it is my job
to get on the cross for everyone.
Oh the pride
to think that GOD has bestowed onto Joni Jones
to do what only HE can do.
Therefore I resign from trying to do what only GOD can do
BECAUSE
HE IS the ONLY ONE who could save Joni Jones.
BECAUSE
HE IS the ONLY ONE who was able to save Joni Jones.
BECAUSE
ONLY HE SAVED me from myself.
And ONLY BECAUSE HE IS THE ONLY ONE
WHO can do the impossible~
I want everyone to be saved from theirselves.
I want to shout it from the roof tops ~
BELIEVE IN JESUS!
My job isn't to
PROVE GOD
because
JESUS did it all on the cross
so that you & I don't have to.
Oh the pressure is gone~
To not have to do what only the SPIRIT can do.
To not have to do what only GOD can do.
To not have to do what only JESUS did.
So I resign from trying to
PROVE GOD
and instead will
"Love the LORD my GOD
with all my heart & with all my soul & with all my mind" (Matthew 22:37).
