It makes you take a step forward
when you want to go backwards
It makes you face the unfamiliar
when you would rather touch what is familiar.
It makes you TRUST in the midst of doubt
It stretches you because it is stretched
as the hands of the clock continue to move forward
yet everything around you is at a standstill
yet changing in ways that you wish wasn't
because
"IT" demands so much of you
because you don't have a choice.
Therefore you succumb
and take the most COURAGEOUS step
because you have nothing else left.
"IT" welcomes you.
"IT" changes everything
because "IT" changes you
as it takes your eyes off of what you see
the moment you take that first COURAGEOUS step beyond all your senses
and grab on "IT" like there is no tomorrow
because "IT" is what you have been seeking.
Because "IT" is FAITH~
" Now FAITH is
the assurance (title deed, confirmation)of things hoped for (divinely guaranteed), & the evidence of things not seen [the conviction of their reality—faith comprehends as fact what cannot be experienced by the physical senses]" (Hebrews 11:1 AMP)

that takes us beyond ourselves
that makes us take our next breath when we feel we have nothing left~
“Cast all your anxiety on HIM because HE cares for you” (1 Peter 5:7).
Oh the COURAGE OF FAITH
that faces the FACE of the ONE who is our FAITH~
“Look to the LORD and HIS strength; seek HIS face always” (Psalm 105:4)
Oh where would you be & where would I be
in this moment in time
as the clock continues to tick
as we continue to wait for things on the outside to change
that continues to stretch the only thing which we really have
that feeds our weary spirits
that transcends all understanding
the moment we respond to HIS WORDS
that calls to FAITH~
"But JESUS immediately said to them: 'Take courage! It is I. Don't be afraid'." (Matthew 14:27).
Oh the COURAGE OF FAITH~
"Therefore we do not lose heart. Though outwardly we are wasting away,
yet inwardly we are being renewed day by day.
For our light and momentary troubles are achieving for us an eternal glory
that far outweighs them all.
So we fix our eyes not on what is seen,
but on what is unseen,
since what is seen is temporary, but what is unseen is eternal" (2 Corinthians 4: 16-18).
