Oh how I want to stay on the mountaintop
for it is where I dance with the freedom
of being me
even if I can't dance.
But it is in those moments
when I am so lost
IN HIM that there is no Joni left,
but only THE ONE who has taken me to the
mountaintop to
"grasp how wide and long and high and deep is the love of CHRIST,
and to know this love that surpasses knowledge..."*
And when GOD meets your HEART in that vulnerable spot
it becomes the sweet spot
where you become so overwhelmed
with
the PERFECT LOVE OF JESUS
who FILLS you with
"the measure of all the fullness of GOD"*..
Then when I come down from the mountaintop
and when you come down from the mountaintop
we don't come down alone,
because once you experience
THE PERFECT LOVE OF GOD
HE never leaves you.
So even when you are in the desert
HE IS the spring of water that wells up to fill your emptiness.
And when you are in the valley,
it becomes the place where the flowers
BLOOM
because you are
"rooted and established in love"*.
Oh how you
BLOOM
when you are planted
IN HIS PERFECT LOVE.
Thank YOU GOD
for dancing with me on the mountaintop
to remind me that YOU never leave me
wherever you plant me,
because if I am
PLANTED IN JESUS
&
if you are
PLANTED IN JESUS
we will BLOOM wherever GOD PLANTS us
because we will be
planted
IN HIS PERFECT LOVE.
Will you dance today
whether you are
on the mountaintop
in the desert
or in the valley,
because GOD will take you HIGHER
so that you BLOOM where you are PLANTED
because you are
PLANTED IN HIS PERFECT LOVE~
"Now to HIM who is able to carry out HIS purpose and do superabundantly more than all that we dare ask or think [infinitely beyond our greatest prayers, hopes, or dreams],
according to HIS power that is at work within us,
to HIM be the glory in the church and in CHRIST JESUS
throughout all generations forever and ever. Amen" *(Ephesians 3:17-20)
Therefore
Let's REMAIN PLANTED IN HIM
on this last day of
AUGUST
so we will enter into
SEPTEMBER
BLOOMING
through our
NEW DAILY DEVOTIONAL SERIES
"BLOOM WHERE YOU ARE PLANTED"
wherever GOD takes you
and that will be
"HIGHER" (listen to the song below)
then you could ever imagine.
