Day 28: Pure Joy

The Little Child

SMILES & LAUGHS

because her every need is taken care of.

She isn't anxious about anything.

Therefore,

she LIVES IN THE MOMENT.

She is FREE to just be herself

without

second guessing her every move

because

she EMBRACES LIFE

as she sees the JOY in everything

because

she knows that she is

LOVED.

The Grown Up

SMILES & LAUGHS

because

your every need is taken care of.

You aren't anxious about anything~

“That is why I tell you not to worry about everyday life—

whether you have enough food & drink, or enough clothes to wear.

Isn’t life more than food, & your body more than clothing?

Look at the birds. They don’t plant or harvest or store food in barns, for your

heavenly FATHER feeds them. And aren’t you far more valuable to HIM than they are?

Can all your worries add a single moment to your life?" (Matthew 2:25-27).

Therefore

YOU LIVE IN THE MOMENT~

“So don’t worry about tomorrow, for tomorrow will bring its own worries.

Today’s trouble is enough for today" (Matthew 2:34).

YOU are FREE to just be yourself~

"For YOU formed my inward parts; YOU knitted me together in my mother's womb.

I praise you, for I am fearfully & wonderfully made.

Wonderful are YOUR works; my soul knows it very well" (Psalm 139:13-14).

Without second guessing your every move~

"Trust in the LORD with all your heart And do not lean on your own understanding.

In all your ways acknowledge HIM, And HE will make your paths straight" (Proverbs 3:5-6)

Because

YOU EMBRACE LIFE~

"Delight yourself in the LORD, & HE will give you the desires of your heart" (Psalm 37:4).

As

You see the JOY in everything~

"Be Joyful always; Pray continuously; Give thanks in all circumstances,

for this is GOD'S will for you in CHRIST JESUS" (I Thessalonians 5:16-18)

because

You know

that

YOU ARE LOVED~

“How great is the love the FATHER has lavished on us,

that we should be called children of GOD!” (1 John 3:1).

Therefore

Little Child

SMILE & LAUGH

because

“The JOY of the LORD is ________'s (put your name)

strength” (Nehemiah 8:10)

And embrace today

by

FASTING from

the complexity of life

by being HIS CHILD

and breathing in

the simplicity of

HIS JOY

into every moment

and just
