I want things my WAY in my WAY.
And then GOD says that HE wants things HIS WAY.
So I am left at a crossroad.
“Enter through the narrow gate. For wide is the gate and broad is the road that leads to destruction, and many enter through it. But small is the gate and narrow the road that leads to life, and only a few find it" (Matthew 7:13-14)
I want things my WAY in my WAY.
And then GOD says that HE wants things HIS way.
I am left at a crossroad.
"Trust in the LORD with all your heart, And lean not on your own understanding; In all your ways acknowledge HIM, And HE shall direct your paths" ( Proverbs3:5-8).

So I am left at a crossroad.
"For MY thoughts are not your thoughts, neither are your ways MY ways, declares the LORD. For as the heavens are higher than the earth, so are my ways higher than your ways and MY thoughts than your thoughts" (Isaiah 55:8-9).
Why wouldn't I want things HIS WAY in HIS WAY?
"For I know the plans I have for you, declares the LORD, plans for welfare and not for evil,
to give you a future and a hope" (Jeremiah 29:11).
HIS PLAN has always been WAY better than my plan,
Sometimes we don't like the WAY things appear,
but when GOD appears
in the midst
of our I want what I want when I want it
with
HIS
"I want what I want for you",
you realize
HIS WAY is WAY better
so that your wants dissipate in the background,
because HE IS all you needed the whole time.
