Day 2: Hide And Seek

BUT GOD shows up when you least expect it.

BUT GOD is everywhere, so where is HE when you least expect HIM?

HE is right where you left HIM.

As HE saw them. Right after the apple caper.

Because HE was there.

Watching them hide.

I bet HE chuckled or shook HIS head

or just wanted to say,

"BUT Adam. BUT Eve. Didn't I say don't touch?"

BUT Adam did hear HIM.

BUT hearing & obeying are two different things

as Adam soon found out

when he hid with the woman who GOD gave to him.

"BUT THE LORD GOD called to the man, 'Where are you?'" (Genesis 3:8).

BUT GOD knew.

BUT why did HE ask?

BUT what if HE asked you~

BUT why don't you BELIEVE ME?

BUT why don't you TRUST ME?

BUT why don't you TALK to ME?

Would you answer~

BUT GOD I don't understand what you are doing.

BUT GOD how can I TRUST YOU if I don't like what I see.

BUT GOD how can I tell you what is on my mind,

because YOU are GOD

and I could never tell YOU what I am really thinking,

because then what would YOU think of me?

Hmm.

BUT GOD responds always with JESUS.

Yup. HE did in the garden with a promise even though HE banished the guilty party

from their first home.

"Whatever GOD has promised gets stamped with the Yes of JESUS.

In HIM, this is what we preach and pray, the great Amen, GOD'S Yes and our Yes together, gloriously evident. GOD affirms us, making us a sure thing in CHRIST, putting HIS Yes within us. By HIS SPIRIT HE has stamped us with HE eternal pledge—a sure beginning of what HE is destined to complete" (2 Corinthians 1:20-22 MSG)

BUT GOD says YES because HIS SON said YES on the cross.

BUT GOD saw them eating the apple.

BUT GOD saw them run and hide.

BUT GOD reached out to them and started a conversation

that would change everyone's lifetime.

BUT GOD always shows up when you least expect it

because HE is always where you least expect HIM

because GOD never left

whether you expect HIM or not,

"EVEN WHEN YOU ARE RUNNING" (listen to the song below)
