I am starting to get used to it,
yet it still stings,
but I think about my JESUS
and how each nail HE took
did sting too.
Maybe that is why HE tells us
“You’re blessed when your commitment to GOD provokes persecution.
The persecution drives you even deeper into GOD'S kingdom.
Not only that—count yourselves blessed every time people put you down or throw you out or speak lies about you to discredit me. What it means is that the truth is too close for comfort and they are uncomfortable. You can be glad when that happens—give a cheer, even!—for though they don’t like it, I do! And all heaven applauds. And know that you are in good company. My prophets and witnesses have always gotten into this kind of trouble" (Matthew 5:11-12)
HIS TRUTH does not make me live as a victim
because HE sets the stage for the BLESSINGS
that override the hurt and the pain.
Not only does JESUS tells us
but HIS brother JAMES chimes in~
"Consider it pure joy, my brothers and sisters, whenever you face trials of many kinds,
because you know that the testing of your faith produces perseverance. Let perseverance finish its work so that you may be mature and complete, not lacking anything" (James 1:2-4).
So why fret if JESUS is for us
as nothing has the power to take away
HIS LOVE
that overrides every obstacle that we will ever face.
I chose to follow JESUS because GOD left me no choice
because HE wouldn't give up on me
when everyone else did.
So is it worth it to FOLLOW JESUS?
It is beyond worth it, because who I am without JESUS?
I don't even want to think about it
because
"I have been crucified with CHRIST. It is no longer I who live, but CHRIST who lives in me.
And the life I now live in the flesh I live by faith in the SON OF GOD,
who loved me and gave HIMSELF for me" (Galatians 2:20)
Therefore
"I SPEAK JESUS" (listen to the song below)
