Day 16: The Grinch

I know CHRISTmas isn't for another 63 days,

but last night I was dreaming about "The Grinch Who Stole CHRISTmas".

In my dream I kept questioning

how can someone steal CHRISTmas if it is in your heart?

As the story goes, when every Who in Whoville woke up on CHRISTmas morning

even though there were no presents & just stripped down CHRISTmas trees

they still joined together

and sang for

JOY.

No one~

Not even the Grinchiest Grinch could steal

the JOY from their hearts

because their JOY was from within

and not from without.

I am thankful for this dream

as it was a reminder that no one can steal

who we are

IN CHRIST

or even choose where we will spend eternity.

REALITY is that it is

our choice to choose

JESUS!

The Grinch may be a made up character

yet with a REALITY message

that when everything is stripped away

where is your JOY rooted?

"I give them eternal life, and they shall never perish;

no one will snatch them out of my hand. 

My FATHER, who has given them to ME, is greater than all;

no one can snatch them out of MY FATHER'S hand.

 I and the FATHER are ONE” (John 10:28-30)
