What if I was told~
"You will find a BABE wrapped in swaddling cloths, lying in a manger”(Luke 2:12)
Would I~
"...go straight to Bethlehem, and see this [wonderful] thing
that has happened which the LORD has made known to us”(Luke 2:15).
Would I go. Would I see. Would I experience
THE BABY.
Would THE BABY be able to fill my heart with all that
I need in the moment.
Would I experience
HOPE.
Would I want THE BABY to be my SAVIOR.
Would I BELIEVE that this little BABY
could be GOD in the flesh?
I would so want THE BABY that they call JESUS
to be the ONE
who is my
HOPE
that would fill me with the
PEACE that transcends all understanding
because
unspeakable JOY
floods my being
even though
I don't see HOPE
even though
I don't see PEACE
even though
I don't see JOY
because all I see is a
BABY
swaddled in a manger
WHO I am told
to look into HIS EYES
and you will know that
HE IS the
HOPE you can see~
because
HE IS the
PEACE that transcends all understanding
HE IS
the
JOY of the world
who
came
humbly
as a BABY
just as I am to humbly come
just as you are to humbly come
to just
RECEIVE
HOPE in hopelessness
PEACE in turmoil
JOY in despair
because
if JESUS can come
swaddled as a BABY
why I would ever
&
why would you ever
expect anything more
from anyone or anything else
to give you
only what
THE BABY
was born to give
every moment
of
every day
because
WHO IS THE BABY~
oh
THE HOPE
&
THE PEACE
&
THE JOY
that swaddles us
because
"You WILL find a BABE wrapped in swaddling cloths, lying in a manger” (Luke 2:12)
the moment you
"...see this [wonderful] thing that has happened which the LORD
has made known to us" (Luke 2:15)
because
“Behold, the virgin shall be with CHILD and give birth to a SON, and they shall call HIS name "IMMANUEL”—which, when translated, means, “GOD with us” (Matthew 1:23).
Oh
GOD IS WITH US
every moment
every second
from the moment
the BABE made HIS first cry~
therefore
"TODAY IS THE SAVIOUR'S DAY" (listen to the song below)
