You grab your MASK~ THE MASK that displays your heart in the moment. It is a toss up
between Bitterness & Anger. You have already FORGIVEN the person,
yet Bitterness still remains because you are still Angry. But what if everyone knew what you were really feeling? But you have no choice but to
LIVE UNMASKED
so you grab the
Bitterness MASK. But then the first person who reads your MASK
approaches you. Oh you are thinking you wish you wearing the
“Stay Away” MASK. As the person comes closer to you
you read their MASK & it also has the word Bitterness! You mean there is someone else who is feeling the same as you? You talk to them & find out that both of you wish you were wearing the
Guilt MASK
because you both love JESUS & you shouldn’t be Bitter,
yet you are.
Oh how can you call yourself a Christian.
What if GOD knew?
Hmm.
HE does.
"Let all bitterness and indignation and wrath (passion, rage, bad temper)
and resentment (anger, animosity) and
quarreling (brawling, clamor, contention) and
slander (evil-speaking, abusive or blasphemous language)
be banished from you, with all malice (spite, ill will, or baseness of any kind)"
(Ephesians 4:31 AMP).
GOD knows us way better than we know ourselves.
And there it is.
An amazing opportunity for
a MASK change.
"But GOD—so rich is HE in HIS mercy!
Because of & in order to satisfy the great & wonderful and intense
love with which HE loved us,
Even when we were dead (slain) by [our own] shortcomings and trespasses,
HE made us alive together in fellowship and in union with CHRIST; [HE gave us the very life of CHRIST HIMSELF, the same new life with which HE quickened HIM, for] it is by grace (HIS favor and mercy which you did not deserve)
that you are saved (delivered from judgment and made partakers of CHRIST'S salvation) (Ephesians 2:4-5).
Oh the Guilt has subsided.
And the Bitterness & Anger.
You both look at each other
& take off
your Bitterness MASK
&
replace it with
MERCY
because
you do love JESUS~
"you put off your old self [completely discard your former nature]... and put on the new self [the regenerated and renewed nature], created in GOD'S image, [godlike] in the righteousness and holiness of the truth [living in a way that expresses to GOD your gratitude for your salvation](Eph. 4:22,24)
And you need JESUS
as HE is who makes you
"DIFFERENT" (listen to the song below)
