It happens all the time~
yet we can miss it
if we are so distracted on
SOMETHING ELSE
that blurs our vision
so that it will pass us by
whether we realize it or not.
"It" happened to me last night,
but I am so thankful that
I wasn't so distracted on
SOMETHING ELSE.
You know the
SOMETHING ELSE
that fills your mind
that it fills your being
that it takes over
so that all you can think about is that
SOMETHING ELSE
that it doesn't matter who you are talking to you
or where you are
because you are
SOMEWHERE ELSE
so that one moment
passes you by and you missed it.~
THE GOD APPOINTMENT~
that moment when you are
SOMEWHERE ELSE
and meet
SOMEONE ELSE
and then it happens.
Your eyes meet
because your hearts are on the same page
as GOD has connected you
because there is no way that you could have planned it.
It is so beyond unreal
yet it so real
that only GOD could purposely orchestrate it
for that moment in time
as a
BLESSING
just for you to experience something that is so beyond coincidental
just for you to know that
HE is
ALWAYS PRESENT
ALWAYS tapping you on the shoulder
to just take a breath
and stop being so distracted on what is preoccupying you
in your heart & mind
that is not of
HIM.
You know what I am talking about
~the Anxious thoughts about what you can't control
~the Bitterness because you can't forget
~the Shame that hides you
~that one person who keeps you imprisoned because of the hurt
~the ___________ that you just can't let go because
if you did then what?
Could you
Would you
really be able to live beyond the
SOMETHING ELSE
that is keeping you from experiencing the
SOMEONE
who is
ALWAYS PRESENT
& who is
ALWAYS
tapping you on the shoulder for you to just stop a second
and be so present where you are
so that you don't miss
HIS GOD APPOINTMENT
that is standing right before your eyes
whether it is in another person who you just met
or
whether it is in a sunrise or sunset
or
whether it is in the midst of an empty room where HE is standing with open arms for you
to just take that step closer to
HIM
so that you could experience
HIS APPOINTMENT
because
HE IS
here, there & everywhere else.
Last night it happened
as GOD connected the dots
in a room around a table
where
HE was the MAIN GUEST
and I would have missed it
if I was so distracted on the
SOMETHING ELSE
instead of being so distracted by
GOD that I experienced
HIM
in what HE does best~
showing up to you & me
because we take the moment to
remember that
HE IS ALWAYS GOD
&
ALWAYS PRESENT
wherever we are~
right here or there or
SOMEWHERE ELSE.
Stop right now and have a
GOD APPOINTMENT
because wherever you are
HE IS.
“Am I only a GOD nearby,” declares the LORD, “and not a GOD far away? Who can hide in secret place so that I cannot see them?” declares the LORD. “Do not I fill heaven and earth?” declares the LORD.
