We all have it.
No one is exempt.
It comes in all shapes and sizes,
It just won't go away
because
we carry it with us wherever we go.
STUFF~
A memory. A feeling. A hurt. A circumstance. A person.
No matter how hard you try to
forget
or
stop feeling
or
pretend it is not there
THE STUFF
has become part of your story.
You can't rip the page out,
but it is ripping you.
What STUFF are you STUFFING~
hoping it will just go away if you don't face it?
But what if
you didn't have to carry your
STUFF
any longer because there was
SOMEONE
who wants to
not only carry it all
but
give you so much more in return~
HOPE~
in the midst of despair.
LOVE~
when rejection becomes your middle name.
LIFE~
when your story has stopped still.
GRACE~
when forgiveness is needed.
JUSTICE~
when life just isn't fair.
KINDNESS~
when pain and suffering is all you remember.
VICTORY~
when you want to throw the towel in.
FREEDOM~
from the STUFF that what binds you
because you invite
JESUS
into your story
by facing what you don't want to face
by looking into the
face of
JESUS
who will pierce your heart
with
HIS
healing touch
because
HE was pierced in order to do so~
"But HE was pierced for our transgressions, HE was crushed for our iniquities; the punishment that brought us peace was on HIM, and by HIS wounds we are healed" (Isaiah 53:5)~
Whether you choose to face it or not
YOUR STUFF is still there~
so why not
"Cast all your anxiety on HIM BECAUSE HE cares for you" (I Peter 5:7).
When you face what you don't want to face
by looking into the
face of
JESUS
HE will pierce your heart
with
HIS
healing touch
because
HE was pierced in order to do so~
"But HE was pierced for our transgressions, HE was crushed for our iniquities; the punishment that brought us peace was on HIM, and by HIS wounds we are healed" (Isaiah 53:5)~
So why not
"Cast all your anxiety on HIM BECAUSE HE cares for you" (I Peter 5:7)
way too much
to let you & I carry it all by yourself.
Therefore,
“Come to me, all you who are weary and burdened..."
and bring all your
STUFF
"...and I will give you rest" (Matthew 11:28)
because
HE is so much
"GREATER" (listen to the song below)
