Courageous Faith

My poor husband~

or should I say my supportive husband

as he was nursing me back to health~

I got the sofa & I got the remote

& I was watching

"Princess Diaries".

Yup~

only

Happily Ever After

movies for this woman~

or the child in me.

He stayed for a bit & and then went to do some work

because

do real men watch Princess Diaries?

Hmm...they do and he did.

Well I learned something from this fairy tale~

"Courage is not the absence of fear,

but rather the judgment that something else is more important than fear.

The brave may not live forever, but the cautious do not live at all

. From now on you'll be traveling the road

between who you think you are and who you can be.

The key is to allow yourself to make the journey." Now you have to admit that this is pretty profound & true.

For where did I hear that before~

"For if I perish I perish"~ from Queen Esther whose faith was bigger than her fear (Esther 4:16)

And

"Be strong and courageous. Do not be afraid; do not be discouraged,

for the Lord your God will be with you wherever you go" (Joshua 1:9)

~said to Joshua whose faith became bigger than his fear

Because when

FAITH is bigger than Fear~

"we do not lose heart. Though outwardly we are wasting away, yet inwardly we are being renewed day by day. For our light and momentary troubles are achieving for us an eternal glory that far outweighs them all..."

And the only way to move courageously beyond this present moment is~

"...we fix our eyes not on what is seen, but on what is unseen, since what is seen is temporary,

but what is unseen is eternal" (2 Corinthians 4:16-18)

So thank you

"Princess Diaries"

for the great reminder

& thank you my husband

for always showing me how

&

Thank You GOD

for walking with us

wherever we go

so we can

get from point A to point B

with

COURAGEOUS FAITH.
