Yesterday we celebrated the LIFE
of a dear friend.
It wasn't a birthday or a congratulations party, as it was a
Goodbye for now celebration.
The people gathered to bring their condolences and their tears,
to celebrate the
LIFE
of someone who is no longer in the here & now.
You wonder~
Did he know that he was that special to so many?
Was his LIFE celebrated while he was here?
Today marks the day of another man~
who GOD called home a year ago today~
who is so dearly missed.
His LIFE we also celebrated.
GOD'S timing not ours~
something that we don't control at all,
yet the time GOD does gives us
we can control some of the things.
Look to your left and look to your right~
there are those special someones
who GOD placed in your
LIFE.
If only we could always celebrate each other while they are here.
And I know it is hard to do perfectly,
but to just take a second
~to make the call instead of the text
~to meet face to face instead of on facebook
~to say "I love you"... just because
To stop for a second
and
Be Still enough
to breath in the
LIFE
that GOD has purposely given us~
because
what is
LIFE
without
GOD~
nothing.
If GOD didn't create each one of us, crafting us so uniquely~
what would we be~
nothing
because we wouldn't be here.
LIFE
a precious gift.
DEATH
a precious gift~
for at the moment
when
GOD calls us home
HE will be waiting
with open arms
and that will be the moment when
our real
LIFE
begins.
Yes, it is the unknown
and yes we would rather have those who have passed here with us now,
but it is something that we have no control over...
BUT the ONE who does
brings comfort and peace in the here and now~
“Do not let your hearts be troubled. You believe in GOD; believe also in ME." John 14:1
Because
JESUS ALWAYS KEEPS HIS RESOLUTIONS~
HE does what HE says HE WILL DO and HE WILL DO what HE says.
and there is no stopping
HIM~
"My FATHER'S house has many rooms;
if that were not so, would I have told you that I am going
there to prepare a place for you? And if I go and prepare a place for you,
I WILL come back and take you to be with ME that you also may be where I am." John 14:2-3
So for now my friends, as we are living our
LIFE
with or without those whom we so dearly love,
embrace the ONE who has given you this
LIFE~
and Who is embracing those who have gone before us~
"Peace I leave with you; MY peace I give you.
I do not give to you as the world gives.
Do not let your hearts be troubled and do not be afraid. "John 14:27
