Do you ever get tired of
YOURSELF?
You know, those parts of you that you just don't like.
Now I am not talking about "body" parts,
but the "you" that shows up that "you" wish wouldn't.
You know~
Did I really say that? Did I really think that? Do I really feel this?
And the answers are~
Yes. Yes. Yes I did. Yes you did.
Ugh.
I just woke up with this unsettling feeling
that won't go away and it is because
I don't like how I feel and I don't know why I feel it.
For some reason everything that I don't like about myself is plaguing me.
There is nothing specific that happened, as I can't pinpoint it,
but the longer I stay focused on "me" the longer I will feel like this.
Phew...I said it and
GOD heard it as you did too
and right now
I know why I am tired of myself~
Because I don't think of me the way
GOD
thinks of me
because I know too much about myself...
But then
GOD
does too
BUT HE Says~
You are a New Creation IN HIM 2 Corinthians 5:17
You are Chosen IN HIM I Peter 2:9
You are Complete IN HIM Colossians 2:9-10
You are Free IN HIM John 8:36
You are Forgiven IN HIM Ephesians 1:17
You are MY Masterpiece Ephesians 2:10
And the list goes on and on and on~
The IN CHRIST list
that makes me and makes you
~everything that we are not
~everything that we can't be on our own
because
GOD never tires of us
or
HE would have never
LOVED us so much to send
HIS SON
to take all of the parts of us
that we don't like~
that just won't go away on their own no matter how hard we try~
so that we can live
as a
New Creation. Chosen. Complete. Free. Forgiven
and so much more,
because
IN HIM
we are
HIS MASTERPIECE
who HE so Loves
that HE never gives up on
as HE won't let us stay as we are
because we were made for so much more~
"We don’t yet see things clearly. We’re squinting in a fog, peering through a mist.
But it won’t be long before the weather clears and the sun shines bright!
We’ll see it all then, see it all as clearly as GOD sees us,
knowing HIM directly just as HE knows us!" I Corinthians 13:12
Hmm..
So maybe I just need to get over "myself"
because
GOD has
and just
BELIEVE all Who HE says I Am
whether I BELIEVE it or not
because
HE BELIEVES It
whether
you or I
BELIEVE it or not
because
You are more than just a RESOLUTION IN HIM
Therefore~
"Since, then, you have been raised with CHRIST, set your hearts on things above, where CHRIST is, seated at the right hand of GOD.
Set your minds on things above, not on earthly things.
For you died, and your life is now hidden with CHRIST in GOD." Colossians 3:1-3
